Dr. Stark

Dr. Stark enjoys his work and is proud of the quality endodontic service he provides for his referring dentists and his patients.  He stays active and involved in the field of dentistry through many volunteer and professional commitments.

Canadian Dental Association

Dr. Stark has been a member of the Canadian Dental Association's Dental Aptitude Test (DAT) evaluation team since 1996. In this capacity, Dr. Stark helps evaluate the manual dexterity performance aspect of the DAT, which dental student candidates for Canadian dental schools take at one of two annual sessions. Dr. Stark helps in the evaluation and grading of upwards of 1,200 test pieces at each session.

University of Saskatchewan - College of Dentistry

Dr. Stark has taught at the University of Saskatchewan's College of Dentistry since his graduation in 1990.


He is currently Associate Clinical Professor, teaching Endodontics to senior students, as well as helping in other disciplines. He was named Professor of the Year in 2001.

Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM)

Dr. Stark has had a close affiliation with the Western College of Veterinary Medicine since 1990. Dr. Stark has taught one to two week seminars for senior veterinary students who have a special interest in Veterinary Dentistry.


Dr. Stark has also been called upon to do root canal therapy for a number of our four-legged friends, including a ferret, whose treatment was featured on the successful Campus Vets television series.


Dr. Stark continues as an adjunct member of faculty at the WCVM.




Dr. Phee

Alysen Phee is happy to be performing endodontics in Saskatoon where she met her husband, Brian. They met as dental students at the University of Saskatchewan and were married in 2008. In her spare time she enjoys doing yoga, pilates, and cooking.


Born and raised in St. Catharines, Ontario, Aly began her dental career by completing a B.Sc. degree in the field of biology at the University of Western Ontario. She moved to Saskatoon in 2002 to join the D.M.D. program at the University of Saskatchewan. After working as a dentist for three years in Saskatchewan, Dr. Phee joined the endodontics program at the University of Toronto. She completed her M.Sc. Endodontics in 2012 with a research thesis titled “Efficacy of Bacteriophage Treatment on Pseudomonas aeruginosa Biofilms”. Aly immediately returned to Saskatoon to begin her endodontic career at Midtown Endodontics as an associate with Dr. David Stark.

Dr. Phee is currently a member of the Saskatoon Dental Society, College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan, Canadian Dental Association, Canadian Academy of Endodontics, American Academy of Endodontists, and is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (F.R.C.D.(C)).

University of Saskatchewan - College of Dentistry

Teaching has always been a pleasure for Dr. Phee and in the past she has instructed at the National School of Dental Therapy, First Nations University of Canada and the University of Toronto. In September 2012, the University of Saskatchewan welcomed Dr. Phee to the dental program as both a lecturer and clinical instructor.
