Dr. Stark enjoys his work and is proud of the quality endodontic service he provides for his referring dentists and his patients.  He stays active and involved in the field of dentistry through many volunteer and professional commitments.

Canadian Dental Association

Dr. Stark has been a member of the Canadian Dental Association's Dental Aptitude Test (DAT) evaluation team since 1996. In this capacity, Dr. Stark helps evaluate the manual dexterity performance aspect of the DAT, which dental student candidates for Canadian dental schools take at one of two annual sessions. Dr. Stark helps in the evaluation and grading of upwards of 1,200 test pieces at each session.

University of Saskatchewan - College of Dentistry

Dr. Stark has taught at the University of Saskatchewan's College of Dentistry since his graduation in 1990.

 

He is currently Associate Clinical Professor, teaching Endodontics to senior students, as well as helping in other disciplines. He was named Professor of the Year in 2001.

Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM)

Dr. Stark has had a close affiliation with the Western College of Veterinary Medicine since 1990. Dr. Stark has taught one to two week seminars for senior veterinary students who have a special interest in Veterinary Dentistry.

 

Dr. Stark has also been called upon to do root canal therapy for a number of our four-legged friends, including a ferret, whose treatment was featured on the successful Campus Vets television series.

 

Dr. Stark continues as an adjunct member of faculty at the WCVM.
